Every year we create over 6 billion tons of plastic waste, and less than 10% of that total is effectively recycled. A problem that big can feel overwhelming. But on the other hand, we've made huge positive changes as a society when we all do our part. Google is on a mission to remove single-use plastics from all of its operations, particularly in foodservice. I worked with their Sustainability team to create a video promoting the Single-Use Plastics Challenge, a call for innovative solutions to help build the zero-waste future.
